Vice President, Sustainable Investments, Deutsche Asset Management
Susanne joined Deutsche Asset Management’s Sustainable Investments team in 2011. The Sustainable Investments team focuses primarily on private equity/private debt type strategies with positive environmental, social and financial returns and complements the more liquid sustainability-related strategies offered through Deutsche Asset Managements’ Active and Passive businesses.
During her time with Sustainable Investments, Susanne worked for several climate-related fund mandates with a focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency project finance transactions in emerging economies as well as the European Union. Most recently she worked on Deutsche Bank’s successful accreditation with the Green Climate Fund as well as the preparation of a first funding proposal for the off-grid energy sector in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Susanne joined Deutsche Bank in 2006 working in Deutsche Bank’s renewable energy practice that engaged in early stage project developments in the European renewable markets. During this time Susanne gained a strong track record in equity and debt finance with a focus on solar and wind transactions in Germany, Italy, France and Poland.
